On Tuesday afternoon, members of the FCA family came together to plant more seedlings in a wooded area not far from the WWK ARENA. The project began two years ago in collaboration with the city of Augsburg and the forestry administration in order to make a sustainable contribution to reforestation and climate protection.

A community project that sets an example

In addition to club members, fan clubs, committee representatives and FCA employees, junior players, the women’s and girls’ section and professionals such as Felix Uduokhai, Ruben Vargas, Patric Pfeiffer and Mads Valentin Pedersen were also actively involved. Together with head coach Jess Thorup and managing director Michael Ströll, they planted trees, accompanied by fans who were able to secure exclusive places in a prize draw.sustainability, regionality and responsibility – values that we also live and promote at Topstar GmbH. We are therefore delighted to support the latest tree-planting campaign as part of the FCA Forest.

‘The FCA Forest symbolises community and responsibility – two of our 07 values,’ says FCA Managing Director Michael Ströll. ‘Thanks to its accessible concept, it acts as a bridge builder that actively involves and inspires people and, above all, our fans.’

 A sign for the future

The FCA forest is part of the city’s climate protection measures and an important building block in the sustainability strategy “Building bridges. Move people. Protect the environment.” The project sets an example of long-term responsibility and shows how community involvement can bring about positive change.

As a company with a focus on sustainability and environmental awareness, we are proud to be a partner of such a valuable campaign. Together with FCA and other supporters, we want to help strengthen the region and make a sustainable contribution for future generations.
